Rain City CrossFit was founded in 2011 by some bad-ass ladies, Carol and Marianne. Ownership has changed a few times over the years as people moved on, but it’s always stayed in the ‘family’. The coaches and members love and believe in this place so much that they’ve stepped up each time. The current owner has been a member since 2013 and most of the coaches have been around at least that long. Come visit our family!
Small Classes, Personalized Help
We are a small, friendly community and strive to keep class sizes at 10 or less. We feel that keeps the energy high while giving us the time to provide effective instruction for your level. When classes get too big, we add more classes!
Micki is a recently retired Molecular Biologist and Bioinformatics Analyst but has been an athlete all her life. As a kid she loved roller skating, gymnastics and soccer. She earned a scholarship at a Division 1 college for track and cross country. She continued running and playing soccer after college, but just for fun. She started CrossFit in 2009 in Seattle and moved to the Bremerton area in 2013 where she became a regular member of Rain City CrossFit. She began coaching in 2015, then purchased the gym in 2016. She has fun competing in the Games Open each year and other local low-key competitions.

Heather got her love for weight training in high school. She joined a weight lifting class known to be an intense program, started originally just for the football players. After high school, a coworker introduced her to Muay Thai, the art of kickboxing. Finally, in 2014, she tried CrossFit. Her passion for the sport has consumed her completely. Her favorite part of CrossFit is the community. There is no judgment. There is no ego. In 7/2015 she and teammates placed first in the scaled division at a local NW Best of the Rest competition.
