CrossFit Level 1

Heather got her love for weight training in high school. She joined a weight lifting class known to be an intense program, started originally just for the football players. After high school, a  coworker introduced her to Muay Thai, the art of kickboxing. For the next 4 years Heather practiced this art and fell in love with fitness again. A promotion moved her family to another city, and Heather had to find another gym. After gaining over 40 pounds, she reached out to her old coach and asked for something, anything, to help her get back into fitness. He mentioned CrossFit. That was February of 2014. Her passion for the sport has consumed her completely. Her favorite part of CrossFit is the community. There is no judgment. There is no ego. In 7/2015 she and teammates placed first in the scaled division at a local NW Best of the Rest competition.
